Also known as Saskatoon or Juneberry, this selection of Serviceberry is a great four season plant that is an improvement of the native species because plants of controlled growth and availability of an interesting multi-stem form. In spring stems are covered with white flowers, followed by edible purple-black fruit. Fall color is a brilliant orange-red, and winter character is provided by fine texture and interesting branching habit. Can be shaped asymmetrically to stand out as an ornamental specimen or focal point in the landscape.
