Aronia melanocarpa 'Autumn Magic'

Aronia melanocarpa ‘Autumn Magic’

Compact variety of chokeberry. After dark green glossy leaves emerge, plant produces fragrant white flowers that become clusters of large, edible, dark purple-black berries. Berries are prized for their high antioxidant content, can be eaten fresh, and are more commonly used in baking, jams, juice, and wine. As its name suggests, in the fall the leaves turn outstanding colors ranging from orange to scarlet red into deep maroon purple.
