Salix 'Flame'

Salix ‘Flame’

‘Flame’ willow is an interesting plant for its dense branching habit, winter bark color of orange to red, and unusual curling of the branch tips that makes it look like a uh, well, a flame. Excellent as a tall windbreak shrub or background plant, the foliage hangs on long after the leaves of other plants have fallen.
