Acer negundo Sensation

Acer negundo ‘Sensation’

Slower and more controlled growth than the species. A uniform branching structure yields a rounded habit with green foliage that turns to brilliant oranges and reds in the fall. Bark of younger growth is maroon tinged dark brown adding winter interest. As a sterile, seedless variety, it is less attractive to harmless but nuisance boxelder bugs.
